/ Company

A small team of operators, builders, and defenders.

We are a generalist IT firm. We have run servers, written software, and answered the phone at three in the morning. None of that goes away just because the work moved to a browser tab.

01/ Manifesto

The IT industry has spent twenty years convincing companies that "specialised" means "fragmented." We disagree.

Most businesses do not want to coordinate four vendors, three contracts, and a service desk that gets it half right. They want one team to take responsibility for the whole picture, and to make confident decisions on their behalf.

That is the company we set out to build. Senior engineers across hosting, software, security, and operations, working under one roof. The same people pick the architecture, write the code, run the production environment, and answer when something is wrong.

The best IT work disappears. The systems just keep running, and the team that uses them stops thinking about them at all.
What we believe

We are deliberately small. We say no to engagements where we would be the wrong fit. We pick clients we can do our best work for, and we keep them for a long time.

02/ Principles

Four rules we keep.

01

Be the calm in the room

Production is loud enough. The job is to think clearly when other people cannot, and to communicate plainly when they need to.
02

Earn the next engagement

We do not sell long contracts. We deliver good work and trust the next month's invoice to make the case for itself.
03

Document for your replacement

Everything we build, every change we make, is written down so the next person can pick it up. Including the next person on our team.
04

Pick the boring tool

Most of the interesting work is in how a system is operated, not in which framework it uses. We optimise for boring on purpose.
